Add to Calendar & a Couple of Fixes
June 30, 2026
One new feature and two fixes since the last note. The headline: you can add your game to your calendar in one tap — from the game page or your confirmation email. Plus steadier teams when someone drops, and a tighter pre-registration path for non-members planning weeks ahead.
Add your game to your calendar
Once you're in a game, look right by the location and time on the game page for Add to calendar. Tap Google, Apple, or Outlook and the event drops in with the date, the 8:30–10pm window, and the gym address already filled in.
Your confirmation email has the same three options — and in Gmail and Apple Mail it goes a step further, showing a native event card you can add without leaving your inbox. The night-before team email carries that card too, so there's a second chance to save it. Add it from both and you won't get a duplicate — the second one just updates the event you already have.
Teams re-balance when someone drops
Teams are set the night before. Until now, if someone released their spot after that, the rosters could end up lopsided — say a 6/5/4 split with an extra leftover slot. Now dropping a spot (or taking one back) re-balances the teams automatically and emails anyone whose color changed, exactly like signing up already did. Most players stay put; only what's needed shifts.
Pre-registration for games further out
For games more than a week away, non-members are now kept on the pre-registration path — save a card and only get charged if a spot is actually available a few days out — instead of occasionally slipping into a direct booking that far ahead. Members still RSVP any time, and anyone with credits is unaffected.
Cheers,
Evan
